ICT & Computer Science Teacher Job – Bishop’s Stortford Area (Start ASAP)
Gold Education Recruitment is delighted to be working with a thriving secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford, currently seeking a passionate and innovative ICT and Computer Science specialist to join their dynamic department. This exciting position is to start immediately, with the potential for a long-term or permanent opportunity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to teach across Key Stages 3–5, inspiring students to explore the digital world and develop real-world computing skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with experienced colleagues, champion outstanding teaching practice, and contribute to the school’s forward-thinking ethos.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Deliver engaging and practical ICT & Computer Science lessons across a range of year groups and abilities
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum standards and spark curiosity in digital learning
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
• Collaborate with staff to enhance the computing curriculum and promote digital literacy
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science in UK secondary schools
• A genuine passion for technology and innovative teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Professionalism, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting students’ growth
