This Primary School located in Ipswich are looking to appoint a full time, permanent Teacher as soon as possible. The post could be in either KS1 or KS2 depending on the strength and experience of the successful candidate.

This post could be suitable for an experienced teacher, however, applications from ECTs are also welcome.

You will take responsibility for the education and welfare of a designated class of children in accordance with the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document, having due regard to the requirements of the National Curriculum and school policies.

You will take responsibility for planning and implementing appropriate work programmes for all children in the designated class, within the framework of national and school policies and maintain assessment records and report on pupils’ progress to senior staff and to parents and carers, in accordance with school policy.

You will:

• provide high quality education for pupils in a designated year group

• ensure consistency in teaching and learning progression for all pupils and staff within the designated year group

• be efficient and able to use own initiative

• work well as part of a team.
