A fantastic opportunity to join a small village school with happy, well-behaved staff - and the children are pretty good too!
The school are looking to appoint a class teacher to cover a mixed year 1 and 2 class from September, or sooner if available.
They pride themselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all their children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of some of their youngest learners, fostering their curiosity, and helping them develop essential skills for lifelong success.
You will:

Key Responsibilities:
teach a mixed Year 1 and 2 class, delivering engaging and imaginative lessons, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their learning journey
create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that caters to the diverse needs of their students, including those with SEN
assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing individualised learning strategies as required
collaborate with colleagues and parents to maintain effective communication and ensure a holistic approach to student development
contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with experience teaching Key Stage 1
a genuine passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of young learners
knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in implementing effective teaching strategies
strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
experience of working with students with SEN, in particular children on the ASD spectrum.
