Support a Child with Autism and GLD in a Mainstream School
Are you passionate about helping children thrive through tailored, individual support?
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a primary-aged child with autism and Global Learning Difficulties (GLD) in a warm and supportive mainstream school environment.

🔹 Your Role:
Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to the child's individual needs
Use clear communication, visual aids, and structured routines to create a calm and predictable learning space
Support the child with classroom engagement, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENDCO, and external specialists
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with autism and/or GLD (school or care setting)
A patient, nurturing approach with strong communication skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to specialist strategies (e.g. TEACCH, PECs, sensory support)
Reliability and a genuine passion for inclusive education
