My client school are an oversubscribed, high-achieving, 11-16 comprehensive school seeking to appoint you, as their Head of History Teacher, to lead the department.
History is a strength at the school and a popular option at KS4, the curriculum is supported by a broad range of extra-curricular opportunities and taught by a strong team of specialist staff.
In 2023 the GCSE History results were 51% Grade 9-7 and 89% Grade 9-4. You will provide effective leadership of the department, including leadership of a team of teachers to ensure the quality and consistency of learning and teaching based on school expectations
