Gold Education Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head Business and Computing to support a school in Central Essex.
The school is currently going through a number of changes and are looking for a strong individual who can bring their own ideas to an already established team and help lead them to the next level.
As Head of Business and Computing you would be expected to:
· Lead the department including peer reviews
· Support ECT’s progress
· Support the growth of the department
· Support the planning of an engaging and enriching science curriculum
· Be an active member of the SLT
This role is suitable for both an Experience Head of Business and computing looking for a new challenge or a second in department looking to make the next exciting step in their career.

The ideal candidates must have:
· Qualified Teacher Status with a recognised teaching qualification
· Experienced in leading the department
· Experienced in supporting ECT’s
· Knowledge of teaching Business and Computing to Key stage 5 including programming
· A passion for teaching and making a difference to children as well as creating a positive impact whilst working in our schools
· Able to adapt well to different schools by being flexible and adjustable to schools policies and procedures
