Head of Food and Textiles Teacher - Braintree

Gold Education Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head of Food and Textiles to support a vacancy in a Braintree school.

The school are ideally looking for someone with a enthusiastic and positive attitude who is able to push the department to the next level, supporting the growth of colleagues while delivering outstanding lessons in both Food Technology and Textiles.

Ideally you will have experience as Head of Department or be a senior member of your current department looking for the next step.

The role will be to commence in January and will initially be for a 2 term contract with a view to becoming permanent.

The ideal candidates must have:

· Ideally QTS or relevant qualifications/Experience

· Experience teaching food and textiles to key stage 5.

· The desire to work with children in an educational environment.

· An enthusiastic and outgoing personality

· The ability to lead the department and bring fresh new ideas.
