My client school are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics for September or sooner if possible.
You will be joining a hard-working, well-qualified and very friendly group of teachers who want the Mathematics subject to be seen as lively and exciting.
The school is an amazing place, full of wonderful students and staff. They pride themselves on taking an evidence-based approach to innovation, meaning that they choose strategies that impact on student progress and teacher workload.
Their sensible and realistic policies include an excellent behaviour policy, and a whole class feedback policy.
Their modern facilities provide an excellent environment to work in, and their thriving Sixth Form continues to grow, as do the numbers in other year groups.
You will:
be an excellent Mathematics teacher who truly is passionate about the subject
be a committed team player
have the ability to engage and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships
be passionate and ambitious about your own career development.
This is an opportunity for an existing Teacher of Mathematics to further their development as part of a forward-thinking MAT to benefit from their supportive model for staff continuing professional development (CPD) and career development.
It is important to belong at work and the work you do is relied upon by their pupils, so even small positive differences which are made, make people very happy. They want to ensure you have a good work life balance and one of the ways they achieve this is by having a two-week autumn half term break.
They will offer you:
job satisfaction through making a positive impact on their student’s lives
a friendly and supportive working environment
supportive and positive management
investment in your training and development
bespoke teacher development programmes supported by their Teaching School Hub
excellent career development opportunities in their school and across the trust including secondments to other trust schools
evidence informed research opportunities via their Research School and programmes to reduce teacher workload including the development of the CUSP curriculum and other programmes the staff within their schools benefit from
a Wellbeing support service
trust wide professional development.
